BMXNZ will have rental transponders available at major events & regional champs on a first-come first served basis.

Note: we will hold limited new transponder stock at events if you prefer to purchase a new device includes 1yr subscription. The device will need to be registered & activated.

Rental Price: $25.00 per event per transponder plus $50.00 deposit per transponder.

Terms and Conditions for renting transponders​​​​​​​

1. All transponders are available on a first-come first-served basis.
2. All transponders remain the property of BMX New Zealand.
3. All transponders will need to be returned to BMX New Zealand at the end of the event for which it was rented for. Transponders not returned by the end of the event are subject to FULL rental charges per day late.
4. Transponders should be returned in the condition they were rented.  I.e clean and undamaged.
5. If transponders are not returned within 10 business days of the event, the full retail price of the transponder will be charged to the credit card and the transponder will then be considered sold.  Please note that any delay in return of equipment could result in BMX New Zealand no longer giving you rental privileges.
6. Please do not write or put stickers on the transponders.
7. BMX New Zealand reserves the right to refuse rental of equipment to any person.
8. BMX New Zealand will take reasonable effort to provide you the transponder/s on time and in good working order. HOWEVER, BMX NEW ZEALAND CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS RELATED TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH THE TRANSPONDER, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE IN THIS SECTION, BMX NEW ZEALAND MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, NATURE OR DESCRIPTION, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE TRANSPONDER SUPPLIED OR PROVIDED HEREUNDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICES COMPLY WITH ANY FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL LAW OR REGULATION, AND BMX NEW ZEALAND HEREBY DISCLAIMS THE SAME.
9. If, for any reason, the transponder fails while using, then, as per BMX New Zealand rule, 2.0.49 Transponders this is considered an equipment failure.  Best effort will be made to score as appropriate.
10. In the event of any default by BMX New Zealand under this Agreement, the entire liability of BMX New Zealand shall be, a refund of that portion of the fee paid by you as payment for those obligations of BMX New Zealand under this Agreement, which have not been fulfilled as the result of BMX New Zealand’s breach.  Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, in no event shall the liability of BMX New Zealand to you in connection with this Agreement exceed the fee paid by you.
11. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, in no event shall either party be liable, whether in contract, tort or under any other legal theory, for lost profits or revenues, loss of use or similar economic loss, or for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or similar damages arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, the technical support, or any advice or assistance provided hereunder.
